The final of the Website Challenge took place 29 April at IBM HQ.  The four schools in the final presented their websites and gave a detailed break-down of how they planned, researched and developed their ideas.

The customer, Portsmouth and Southsea Voluntary Lifeguards were delighted with all this year's entries stating they would be using a lot of the ideas that were presented.

The winning school was Oaklands Catholic School, they gave an excellent performance on the stage in front of a packed audience and a panel of technical judges.

The Website Challenge provides an excellent opportunity that allows year's 9&10 students to work together on a real business related project.

The launch took place on 15 December 2009 at IBM, North Harbour.

The challenge is run in partnership with IBM who work closely with the teams over the 3 month planning period to put the websites and presentations together.

The 3 other schools in the final, Cams Hill, City of Portsmouth Boys' School and for the first time, an IT Diploma Group from Fareham and Gosport all gave an exceptionally high standard of work.  The judges had the most difficult of jobs deciding on who to put through as the ultimate winners.  They are guided by a strict criteria which each team is given points for, which hopefully makes their jobs a bit easier.

EBP would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody involved in the challenge!
