Website Challenge 2010
 

The Website Challenge provides an excellent opportunity within the Generic Learning element, for your IT Diploma Students to develop part of their Project within the 60 GLH’s available to them.

 
This Challenge allows your year 9&10 students to work in Teams of 10, on a real business-related project, focussing on website design, project management, team-working and presentation skills. The challenge supports both the work related learning and enterprise requirements for students and develops their Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS).

The launch will took place at IBM, Northarbour, Cosham on Tuesday 15 December 2009, 1.00 - 3.00 p.m.

We have 9 schools' registered to take part in the challenge this year.

The team design and present a website for a real customer, this year we are very lucky to have The Portsmouth&Southsea Voluntary Lifeguards as the customer.

The schools will present their websites over 3 heats held in April at IBM, North Harbour.
