13th March 2009, The Atrium, 1000 Lakeside

On the 13th March 2009, we unveiled the new Business Ambassador Scheme at our 12th anniversary party in our new headquarters at 1000 Lakeside, North Harbour.

 

The event was attended by Portsmouth North MP Sarah McCarthy-Fry and representitives of many businesses which have already opted to lend their support to the scheme. The Ambassador programme calls on company figures to put themselves forward, to volunteer to speak about their experiences at secondary schools around Portsmouth, Havant, Fareham and Gosport. 

Mrs McCarthy-Fry said: "In a time of recession, it is even more important to equip our young people with the skills that will be essential in the growth of an economic upturn"

  

The EBP has been a company for 12 years. Over the 12 years, over 50,000 children and young people have taken part in EBP activities. We have over 5,000 businesses or individual employees who work with us offering either work experience, or getting involved in events.
