NOCN Level 1 Award For Extended Work Placements

New for Septemeber 2010, EBP can offer an NOCN accredited Extended Work Placement qualification.

This NOCN qualification sits in the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) and is designed to help meet the needs of learners for whom 'employability skills' need to be the key focus. learners undertake a range of activities prior to the placement, including, investigating career options, completing application forms and CV's, interview practice and personal presentation. Learners then undertake a period of 'extended' work experience that can run from 6 weeks up to a year.

The qualifcation comprimises of units:

COST is £500.00 per student

New for September 2010, EBP can offer an intensive one week NOCN accredited Preperation for Work Programme. This NOCN qualification sits in the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) and is designed to help meet the needs of learners for whom 'employability skills' need to be the key focus and include a range of confidence building activities to improve learners communication, presentation and problem solvign skills.

The qualification comprises of 4 units:

• Using Teamwork Skills:   
• Preperation for Interview:  
• FE Enrichment Activity:   
• Undertaking an Enterprise Project:

COST of Programme is £300.00 per student; maximum 15 students per course. A cancellation charge of £50.00 per group will be applied for any withdrawl, once the request for places has been received and confirmed by EBP.
