Helping Hands In Hour Of Need
At Langstone Technology Park, Thursday 21st January 2010

Nearly 60 teenagers from schools in and around Portsmouth have been given a valuable insight into the vital role of the emergency services following a simulated car crash.
Portsmouth EBP organised a Critical Incident Day for pupils with a genuine interest in undertaking the Society, Health&Development Diploma at Higher Level.
Jacquie Jones, Project Co-ordinator at EBP said "Attendees were given a valuable insight into the vital role of the emergency services, including health professionals. The participants also learnt about the need for improved road safety, as well as first aid awareness."
An auditorium at Langstone Technology Park in Havant, where 3,000 people work for 18 companies, was the venue for the day, with representatives from the police, fire service and health profession.
Pictured here at one of the park's courtyards, with some of the pupils are, from left, PC Becky Starks, PS Darren Ord and accident investigator Tony Johnson of the Roads Policing Unit at Cosham police station.
Attendees came from Staunton Park, Brune Park, Portchester Community, Park Community, City of Portsmouth Girl's and Priory School.
