What We Do

Portsmouth&South East Hampshire Education Business Partnership (EBP) runs a variety of programmes to bring business and education together.

Through its many programmes, employers can help raise the aspirations of young people and are able to be directly involved in initiatives which encourage young people to develop key skills required for the world of work.

For schools, the EBP can provide support in all aspects of the curriculum, generating links with employers who can help to bring a real life perspective to the curriculum. EBP programmes and activities support the full 9 elements of the work related learning framework for KS4, and can support careers and PSHE programmes.

Many students find that, being involved with employers through the EBP, increases their motivation to learn, and helps them to have a much better understanding of what will be required of them once they enter the world of work.

Portsmouth&South East Hampshire Education Business Partnership is part of a consortia of Business Link Providers - Partnership Network - through which we can help to broker a wide range of business support for schools. The EBP is a not for profit company limited by guarantee. Our funding comes through central and local government contracts, and all our funding goes towards providing high quality services for the community.
