What We Do

What We Do

Through our many programmes, employers can help raise the aspirations of young people and are able to be directly involved in initiatives which encourage them to develop key skills required for the world of work.

For schools, the EBP can provide support in all aspects of the curriculum, generating links with employers who can help to bring a real life perspective to the curriculum.  EBP programmes and activites support the economic wellbeing framework and can support careers, work related learning, enterprise and PSHE programmes.

Many students find that being involved with employers through the EBP increases their motivation to learn and helps them to have a much better understanding of what will be required of them once they finish their educations.

Portsmouth and South East Hampshire Education Business Partnership is part of a consortia of Business Link Providers called 'Partnership Network'.  Through this company, we can help to broker a wide range of business support for schools.  EBP is also a national network and more information can be found at www.nebpn.org.

The EBP is a not for profit company.  Our funding comes through central and local government contracts and all our funding goes towards providing high quality services for the community.
