(PWEC/PreWEC)

These events are held with year 10 students, and can take place within school or an appropriate off-site venue (often the Royal Marine’s Museum in Eastney). It starts or follows the students’ Work Experience Placements and is a chance for them to firstly reflect on their two-week experience, and secondly to consider future possibilities. We invite people from the world of business to come along and discuss career opportunities with the students in small groups (speed networking). This gives an opportunity for the students to ask questions about the world of work and find out a bit more about various industries.
